The BMMSA Dermatology office is looking for a Mohs Medical Assistant to join their growing team. This person will assist the physician in all surgical procedures as well as patient exams. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and extensive benefits.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, No weekends

Responsibilities:

• Assist providers during medical or surgical procedures.
• Maintain and review patients’ medical history in EMR systems.
• Prepare exam rooms with supplies and equipment.
• Clean, disinfect, and sterilize exam rooms and instruments.
• Schedule patient appointments, coordinate with external offices.
• Communicate essential patient information with providers and co-workers.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and follow policies and procedures.
• Complete required annual training.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• Prior medical office experience
• Surgical experience (preferred)
• Familiarity with EMR systems (preferred)
