Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory levels for an Ambulatory Surgery center with 2 ORs (one with fluoroscopy) and 6 pre/post-op bays. Procedures include Cardiovascular, EP, pain, plastic surgery, and ENT. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inventory management and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Duties:
- Developing par levels
- Ordering and replenishing stock
- Tracking all deliveries including organizing and storage of items
- Assuring necessary supplies for the procedures scheduled for the week are available
- Accounting for damaged, mis-ordered, and returned inventory
- Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with inventory (preferably healthcare/surgical prodcuts)
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
- Excellent time management skills
- Organization skills
- Attention to detail
