Description

Job Summary: Senior New Business Development Rep will play a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of Brown Bottling Group franchise. Responsible for procuring new business throughout our territory, cultivating strategic partnerships, and developing innovative strategies to increase revenue and market share.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
  • Primary Role Secure new businesses for Brown Bottling Group via cold calling and shared prospects.
  • Partner with the sales and marketing team to develop marketing techniques and strategies to reach customers in specific channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of channel partners against set targets and KIPs.
  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, email campaigns and attending industry events.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, partners, and industry influencers. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and support for business development initiatives.
  • Implement corrective actions or adjustments to optimize channel performance.
  • Audit accounts to gauge customer satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with channel partners.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics and competitor activities.
  • Coordinate with the service department for new equipment installations for new customers and removal of equipment for discontinued customers.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the business development team.

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
  • Finger and hand manipulation such as writing or typing for prolonged periods.
  • Ability to travel to customer locations via automobile.

Work Environment:

  • Work in many different environments: office, break rooms, stores, restaurants.
  • Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions while traveling.
  • Partial time spent in an office setting. Considerable amount of time spent traveling to customer locations.

Qualifications


Qualifications:

  • Valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
  • 2 years of proven cold calling sales experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and deep understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with customers.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft office programs.
  • Interpersonal and negotiation skills.
