Job Summary: NewBusiness Development Representative sells the full line of coffee, tea, water, and other Exell products and services to businesses, industrial establishments, and individuals in an assigned territory.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Lives and models BROWN VALUES in everything we do.
• Compiles lists of prospects for use as sales leads, based on information from business publications, industry ads, trade shows, internet, and other sources
• Contacts prospects and customers by phone, email, in-person, or other sources
• Collects Discovery information from prospects and customers to better meet their needs
• Creates and presents proposals to prospects and customers
• Prepares contracts and any other appropriate paperwork for orders obtained and submits for approval
• Coordinates date of delivery to customer with appropriate supervisors/managers
• Prepares reports of business transactions and tracks expenses
• Maintains sales activity logs
• Develops and maintains relationships with customer decision-maker/contacts
• Investigates and resolves customer problems alongside supervisor/manager

Physical Demands:

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently
• Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Drive a vehicle and enter and exit vehicle multiple times throughout the shift.

Work Environment:

• Work in many different environments: outside, inside, break rooms, stores
• Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions
• Majority of time spent in vehicle traveling to stops

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license and approved driving record.
• 2 years of sales experience.
• Strong communication and negotiating skills.
• Effective computer skills to work with presentations, communications, Outlook, Excel spreadsheets and more
