Product Business Analyst
Contract to Hire
Remote – EST Time Zone
Our Fortune 15 healthcare client is seeking a Product Business Analyst. You will team with world-class professionals to define, develop, and test strategies that directly impact the bottom line. You will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibilities, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.
Responsibilities
· Research market and business needs and translate into prioritized feature sets.
· Write Business Requirement Documents
· Create high-level user stories or Epics, to describe work that needs to be done within a release.
· Collaborate with the design team to optimize workflow and user experience.
· Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups.
· Ensures system design fits the needs of the end-users.
· Functions as the liaison between business users and IT
· Assist with testing.
· Participate in Sprint Planning and Reviews
· Provide content and education in support of new releases.
· Assist the Product team in creating & prioritizing a backlog of requirements.
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree Required
· 3 years of work experience in healthcare industry or software company required; prior software development or Business Analyst experience preferred.
· Proficient in MS Office applications; Jira and Confluence experience a plus
· Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and drive results.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with customers and internal users
· Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile principles required.
· Strong follow-up and follow-through skills with the ability to multitask on various projects with attention to detail and accuracy, while effectively focusing on priority issues
· Team player. A positive attitude and flexible approach demonstrating the ability to work well within and across internal teams.
· Ability to create and maintain Business Requirement Documents BRDs and Functional Requirements Documents
· Ability to perform Gap Analysis utilizing analytical skills to identify and remedy problems.
· Ability to work in a team environment and lead others if needed.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· A strong sense of urgency
