Role Summary
Maintains the technical integrity and performance of all ITS Servers and Network Operating systems, including Database servers throughout the Local and Wide Area Network topology, directly or through managed services. Manages key vendor relationships, licensing, and support contracts related to Server support and data security. Maintains physical and virtual server environment. Responsible for disaster planning and recovery testing of all enterprise systems, policies and procedures for the IT function, and the key contact for cyber security and IT system & data compliance for overall company IT function. Key contact for SOX & PCI audits, works to help ensure & maintain compliance, part of team that will address any process/account/server/hardware related remediations.
Role Accountabilities and Responsibilities

• Setup and configuration of new physical & virtual servers required for development & production environments.
• Maintains DNS, Group Policies, and Network configurations.
• Negotiates with vendors, consultants, business partners, IT staff and other Waterpik departments to ensure availability, and reliability and scalability of systems.
• Establishes and implements policies, procedures, and technologies (including firewalls) to ensure system security.
• Monitors and tests system performance and provides performance statistics and reports.
• Develops and maintains system training materials and systems documentation.
• Ensures that Company use of purchased software adheres to Company and Corporate standards regarding software license compliance and copyright infringement.
• Develops and establishes disaster recovery procedures for the restoration of mission-critical information technology/business applications in the event of natural disasters, technical failures, power outages, and human interference.
• Evaluates, implements and maintains necessary hardware and software required to support Company disaster recovery plan standards.
• Practices asset management including complying with, following and enforcing procedures, and maintaining inventory and related documentation of movement and installation of assets including computer parts and technical specifications information.
• Responsible for following quality system procedures. Assists in procedure development when required. Ensures product quality and takes appropriate action when non-conformances are identified. Keeps accurate records as required.
• Manage alerts and monitors unusual activity that may indicate a security breach.
• Leads, coordinates, and participates in key process improvements.
• Participates in design and review of new systems and applications.
• Conducts all activities in a manner which is at all times fair, moral, ethical and legal.

Education and Experience

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science and/or six (6) years equivalent work experience with no less than three (3) years as a Network Systems Administrator in a multiple operating system environment with responsibilities similar to those noted in the Essential Responsibilities section.
• Certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, UNIX, or A preferred.
• Specific knowledge of UNIX, Linux, and/or Microsoft platform(s) as well as Local and Wide area Network operations strongly desired.
• Specific knowledge and experience with virtual server environments, VMware strongly desired.
• Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows & Unix/Linux servers and networks.
• Hands on experience with disaster recovery protocols, best practices, and work experience configuring and maintaining backup systems in support of business continuity.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP protocols, firewall management, DNS, DHCP.
• Hands-on hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
• Direct experience with ITIL, writing & maintaining IT polices and procedures.

Other Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Reporting Relationship: Reports Manager III ITS.
Supervisory Duties: May direct the work of ITS technicians, contractors, vendors and consultants on a project or task basis as necessary to achieve goals. No permanent, direct supervisory responsibility.

Estimated pay: $88,000 - $137,500 Annual Salary
