We are looking for bartenders that thrive in a fast-paced environment while also being self-motivated to find useful ways to efficiently use time during slow periods. Compensation includes hourly wage plus tips.

Responsibilities

• Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and restaurant patrons
• Interact with customers, take orders and serve tapas and drinks
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Fosters high quality and safety standards in the workplace
• Able to spot problems and resolve them quickly and efficiently
• Work with other staff to clean all areas of the bar, tasting room, and kitchen

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bartender
• Must have the ability to handle high volume in a composed manner
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean
• Self-motivated, diligent and enjoys working in a team-oriented environment
• Must possess excellent verbal communication skills and an ability to make customers feel valued and appreciated
• TIPS trained is appreciated but not required
• Vision and dental insurance offered if 30 hours/week
• 401K after 1 year of employment and more than 1,000 hr/yr
