Education and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field required. Minimum of one to three years of benefits administration preferred.
Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special RequirementsNone
Management/Decision MakingApplies existing guidelines and procedures to make varied decisions within a department. Uses sound judgment and experience to solve moderately complex problems based on precedent, example, reasonableness or a combination of these.
Knowledge and SkillsPossesses extensive knowledge of a distinct skill or function and a thorough understanding of the organization and work environment. Has a working knowledge of a functional discipline. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ACA, ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, Medicare, Social Security, and DOL requirements.
