BronxWorks is hiring one (1) Program Direstor for the CMOAC Program.

 RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise the day-to-day operation of the Older Adult Center
• Supervise the day to day operation of the center’s kitchen which cooks for the center as well as cater to two(2) other BronxWorks programs
• Supervise support staff as well as kitchen staff. Conduct and/ or partake in quarterly staff training, mandatory training in CPR/AED, First Aid etc. 
• Prepare monthly reports to the funder (DFTA), program officers, and supervisors
• Responsible for administration and monitoring the center’s budget
• Responsible for monitoring food budget, ordering raw food products, menu planning quality of food products served
• Supervise and or conduct food and program surveys for clients twice a year
• Attend Agency and Funder meetings
• Attend monthly Community District meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Applicants must have either a Bachelor’s in a social service field plus 3 years’ experience or a Masters in a social service field with 1 year experience
•  Bilingual English / Spanish Preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to use a computer for prolonged periods. 
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. 
• Ability to stand, walk, or sit for long periods of time. 
• Ability to bend and retrieve objects and/or documents. 
• Ability to travel in the boroughs of New York City and its adjacent counties via public transportation. 
• Ability to travel for a minimum of 1 mile within a reasonable amount of time and in all types of weather, including inclement weather, if required to conduct home visits and/or field work. 
• Must be able to multi-task.
