Rapidly growing Chicago Glazing Subcontractor is looking for Assistant Project Manager and Project Estimator with diverse commercial glass experience.

Applicants without Glass & Glazing experience will not be considered.

Qualifications:

* Minimum 2 years experience in the specific glass and glazing industry

* Minimum 2 years experience with glass storefronts and curtain wall systems, window walls, windows and doors.

* Strong knowledge of aluminum, glass, hardware and systems

*Working knowledge of PartnerPak

*Solid knowledge of Procore software

* Must be able to read and interparent blueprints and/or drawings.

* Strong verbal, written and organizational skills.

THE ROLE: An assistant project manager is integral to the project management team, and is responsible for assisting in the coordination of projects of varying size and complexity. This role is multifaceted and helps bridge the communication between the internal project management team, and the General Contractor/customer. This role is responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks and reports to the project manager. The assistant could be called to fulfill a number of duties ranging from pre-construction scheduling, maintaining communications with the customer, preparing requests for vendor quotes, tracking material orders, preparing reports to the internal team & customer, and gathering documents for the project compliance.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
