Purpose of the Position:
Provide sales coaching and support to commercial relationship managers forthe growth of the Commercial Banking line of business in Austin. Activelymanage and grow a portfolio of commercial C&I clients. Manage an Austin Commercial Banking team of 2to 5 relationship managers for efficient and effective operations.
Reports to the Austin Market President with directreports of the Austin Commercial Banking Relationship Managers. Responsible for coachingand developing Austin Commercial Bankers within their assigned team. This will include supporting the acquisitionof new, profitable relationships and maintaining existing relationships. Responsible for evaluating, negotiating, andmonitoring existing and new credits to maximize earnings for the bank.
Ensures that all solutions proposed to clients satisfy their short-termand long-term needs. Direct reports and teams will engage in appropriatebusiness development tactics through Business Development by Design & CRMand use scorecards to drive activities and production to grow new profitablerelationships, deepen current relationships, and strengthen teamwork withinBroadway Bank.
Represent thebank in the community, increase the overall awareness of Broadway Bank andproject a positive image for the bank as a stable, sound, profitable, innovativeand modern financial institution. Conscious of bringing top tier clientele with high margins and profitpotential into the bank. Coach direct reports with the intent of creating aseamless succession plan.
