Overview

Data Management Services, a technical services provider for a leading cancer research institution in the Washington D.C. metro region, is seeking to add a Senior Drupal developer to our team. The team is responsible for the full range of Drupal site implementation from initial design to final implementation and everything in between.

Responsibilities

• Develop Drupal applications using software development architecture best practices.
• Able to plan and design development projects at a high level.
• Full stack PHP development.
• Coordinate efforts between various technical team members to facilitate productivity.
• Front end Drupal theme and subtheme development, including admin integration.
• Custom module development including admin integration.
• Create relevant preprocess functions for render array manipulation, node prep, etc.
• Utilize Drupal API in feature development tasks.
• Maintain package repository and framework level assets that affect multiple projects.
• Understand, maintain, and troubleshoot Linux servers in coordination with Networking & Systems support teams.
• Coordinate changes to Firewalls and/or Load Balancers that impact Drupal websites.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, project team, customers.
• Create documentation to support projects, operations, and the technical environment.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing with the Drupal platform.

• Extensive experience and knowledge of Drupal 8 & 9

• Experience with Docksal localhost dev environments.

• Experience developing with JavaScript and/or jQuery.

• Visual Studio & ASP .NET Webforms, and MVC.

• PHP programming knowledge.

• Shell scripting (bash, zsh, etc.) experience.

• Understanding of Linux and web server architecture.

• Knowledge of networking concepts such as firewalls, TCP/IP communication, database connectivity, and server troubleshooting techniques.

• Working knowledge of Source/Version Control such as SVN or GIT.

• Understanding of CA certificates.
