Briggs Industrial Solutions is Hiring an Account Manager Near Broward County, FL

POSITION PURPOSE:The Account Manager is responsible for growing top line sales, market share, and bottom-line profit. Differentiate Briggs equipment, products and service from the competition. Develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and promote company brand. Focus on promoting sales of new and used equipment, parts, service, and rental within the assigned territory to ensure customer retention and satisfaction. Ensures all Briggs Equipment standards are adhered to and executed consistent with company direction.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:1. Find, penetrate, design, present solutions, and close deals particular to a line of Warehouse products2. Identify, meet & develop rapport with target companies to ensure capital equipment purchasing decisions3. Grow profitability with existing and conquest accounts through the sale of additional new and used equipment, parts, service, and rental4. Assist Sales Manager in forecasting sales in assigned territory, including setting account targets for sales of new and used equipment, parts, service and rental5. Maintain detailed account profiles and prepares sales reports as required6. Meet or exceed assigned market share and profitability objectives7. Design and implement vigorous prospecting plan to find, develop and execute sales opportunities8. Sell all equipment in Briggs Equipment portfolio to new and existing customers within assigned accounts and geography9. Enhance professional delivery by continuously increasing product and industry knowledge and interpersonal skills10. Attend and participate in company-sponsored events and industry trade shows11. Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products, services, competitor activities and market data12. Perform other related duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Basic Knowledge & Competencies:Excellent Customer Service, communication and multi-tasking skillsOutstanding Sales Leadership and Customer Relationship Building SkillsStrong Financial focus, including capital buying process, cognitive skills, problem analysis, decision making and quantitative analysisAbility to assess customer patterns and adjust labor and branch focus accordinglyThorough knowledge of all systems, procedures, techniques, equipment, operations, standards and reports that apply to the branchProficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and CRM toolsPrevious Experience/Education:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience is preferred1 years' experience in selling complex products – experience in warehouse products are preferableStrong understanding of warehouse operations; shipping and receiving, put-away, order picking, replenishment, facilities management, throughput, cycle counting, transportation and logisticsThorough knowledge of supply and demand chain management fundamentals such as inbound raw material flow and outbound distributionProven success in designing, quoting, and closing the sales of equipment and other allied productsPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSOut of town travel: less than 25%Standing, walking, lifting, twisting and bending on a frequent basisAbility to lift up to 40 pounds
