BridgePoint Associates is Hiring a Director of Financial Planning & Analysis Near New York, NY
- Establish and manage the organization's budgeting process, both organization-wide and program specific
- Serve as a thought partner to the CFO
- Oversee a portfolio of 100 grants, including cost allocations, expenses, and ensuring timely spend down
- Partner with the compliance team to analyze allowable versus non-allowable expenses
- Review the general ledger and create budget versus actual analysis
- Create budget modifications
- Create financial reports monthly, quarterly, and annually
- Maintain current modeling systems; implement new budgeting and planning systems
- Analyze and report finance results to the CFO and leadership team
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and cost allocation policies
- Manage and support a team of four analysts
- Approximately 10 years of relevant experience, including time in nonprofit financial planning
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree and CPA preferred
- Experience managing large budgets, coupled with an understanding of fund accounting
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Technologically savvy and detail oriented
- Collaborative and detail oriented
