Briarwood Mobile Home Park is Hiring a Maintenance Worker Near Sacramento, CA

Summary

The Maintenance Technician role is responsible for the overall maintenance of the mobile home park property in all areas related to the day-to-day maintenance operations.

Areas of Responsibilities

  • Cleaning and improvements that include renovations of vacant units to turnover for resale
  • Responds to maintenance service requests from tenants and owners.
  • Responsibility to support the Community Manager in all phases of the overall physical maintenance and appearance of the property.
  • Light general maintenance of the facilities, grounds keeping, housekeeping to include laundry rooms, clubhouses, offices, the recreational areas, and other property-specific common areas.
  • The Maintenance Tech is to assist and follow all preventive maintenance programs, as well as all required state and federal safety programs.
  • Must be self-motivated, communicate effectively, and very organized.
  • Maintains or assists in maintaining inventory and prepares related paperwork.
  • Keeps storage facilities and equipment in an orderly, working condition.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior experience as a handyman or facilities technician a plus
  • Computer literate and possess the ability to learn the software to improve efficiency
  • Must have experience in all trades - landscaping, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work; able to use required tools and machinery; professional interaction with co-workers, residents, and vendors; knowledge and continued education of OSHA requirements; knowledge of MSDS requirements appropriate to the scope of work.
  • Ability to work while maintaining clean and proper work areas upkeeping a professional standard
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to read and interpret service orders and documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29 per week
