A non-profit agency that serves people with disabilities in their homes is searching for a Registered Nurse Trainer to join their growing team! In this role, you will conduct in-service training and workshops for staff and certify staff in medication administration.

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor healthcare needs, conduct nursing assessments, and provide medical information for various reporting requirements.
• Going into patients’ homes and consulting with caregivers.
• Going into residential facilities and working with the support teams to ensure they provide quality care.
• Training caregivers and support teams on individual care plans.
• Training staff and caregivers to properly administer medications.

Qualifications:

• An ASN is required, and a BSN is preferred.
• Active RN License.
• 2 years of nursing experience is required.
• Prior experience in human services or developmental disabilities is preferred.

Additional info:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Monday-Friday, 830 am-5 pm, with some flexibility if needed.
• $80,000-$85,000 mileage reimbursement.
