Brandywine / Retirement Unlimited North is seeking a Leave Manage Administrator. This position manages leave administration and serves as company’s labor law professional coordinating the leave requirements of federal statues — the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Pregnant Worker's Fairness Act (PWFA), PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act (PUMP Act) and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA) and any applicable state laws.

Serve as a subject matter expert and liaison for leave requests, work accommodations, and workers’ compensation programs in alignment and under the general direction and guidance of department leadership.

Duties:

• Serve as the initial point of contact for employees and managers seeking information and guidance on all LOA policies, procedures and requirements.
• •Manage the entire leave of absence process ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations as well as company policies.
• •Collect and review medical leave requests and documentation, assess eligibility, send required notices, forms, and letters, and coordinate leave duration with managers and payroll.
• •Lead fact finding for FMLA, ADA and workers’ compensation and any other applicable federal and state laws.
• •Conduct interactive process meetings with employees to obtain pertinent information, determine applicability policies and procedures to the issue at hand, recommend an action plan, and provide follow-up as necessary.
• •Provide information and assist with questions related to wage replacement benefits. Provides assistance in completing State,Federal and insurance applicable disability claims.
• •Assist in administration of modified duty programs, with primary focus on return from leave and reducing time loss.
• •Ensure the workers' compensation program is managed in accordance with applicable OSHA, ADA, and workers' compensation laws. Communicate and coordinate with a variety of internal and external sources to achieve timely return to work dates and prompt resolution of the claims.
• •Provide guidance for complex leave cases, accommodations, system configuration, and employment status consistent with local,state, and federal regulations.
• •Works toward resolving disputes in compliance with applicable regulations and company applicable policies and procedures.
• •Process and distribute weekly and monthly leave of absence and workers’ compensation reports.
• •In partnership with Payroll Services, monitors employee benefit contributions while out on LOA to ensure the appropriated eductions and effectively communicates all as appropriate.
• •Supports variety of tasks related to the monitoring of claims.
• •Assist with initiatives to reduce workplace injuries.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $49,265.87 - $59,330.94 per year
