Position: Billing Administrator

Salary: $50,000 - $60,000, Commensurate With Experience

Start date: ASAP

Location: This is an office-based telecommuting position. This position is designed to be eligible for up to full time telecommuting, but personnel must live within approximately one hour commuting distance to Charlottesville, VA. Your base work location will be BCG’s office located at 300 Preston Avenue Suite 401 Charlottesville, VA 22902.

Billing Administrator

Spend your days

  • Supporting BCG in contract administration and client deliverables, General Services Agreement (GSA) administration, GSA sales reporting, contract audits and closeouts, System for Award Management (SAM) administration, bid and proposal support, and monitoring procurement websites for applicable open contracts.
  • Assisting with managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting team.
  • Creating, validating, and transmitting monthly invoices and reports to clients.
  • Processing and reconciling timesheets and expenses reports
  • Preparing Request for Information (RFI) and Request for Proposals (RFP) postings, contract invoicing, and assisting with business process improvements.
  • Maintaining and managing all financial transactions, post all accounts payable and accounts receivable credits and record all transactions.
  • Preparing monthly financial statements – P&L reports, balance sheet, cash flow, aging receivables and expense reporting.
  • Preparing & inputting journal entries, and monthly account reconciliations, as needed.
  • Updating monthly financial metrics and providing analysis.
  • Ensuring accuracy of financial statements in accordance with GAAP and compliance to internal policies.

Bring with you

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) from an accredited school.
  • Strong financial data analysis, organizational, and reporting skills.
  • Must be able to utilize / manipulate necessary computer programs - create spreadsheets & formulas, create charts, and merge program data.
  • At least 3 years billing administrator and invoicing experience required. Government contract invoicing experience a plus.
  • A FINE attention to detail and a friendly disposition.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels throughout the company.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and basic knowledge of accounting software, such as Quickbooks.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
  • A team player attitude with the ability to work independently.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
  • Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status.
