BOXit Corporation is Hiring a Remote Help Desk Technician

The Position
We are looking for a fully remote technician located in or near King of Prussia who can provide excellent customer support to over 6,000 users at 180 organizations. As part of this role, you will be adept at handling calls while working with a wide range of technologies. This position offers the chance to acquire new skills and knowledge. At boxIT, we appreciate employees who demonstrate adaptability in diverse environments and take responsibility for their actions. You should have topnotch trouble-shooting skills, be a reliable team player and understand the importance of communication and documentation. Lastly, you will be required to participate in a weekly on-call rotation approximately every 12-16 weeks.

Technical Requirements:

  • Experience supporting Windows 10/11
  • Experience supporting Apple macOS
  • Familiarity with Windows Server 2012/2016/2019/2022 and Active Directory
  • Familiarity with Cloud resources (Google Drive, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace (G Suite)
  • Familiarity with ‘smart’ devices such as phones, tablets, etc.
  • Familiarity with automation and scripting such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python (bonus)
  • Knowledge of common office communication applications such as Slack or Microsoft Teams (bonus)
  • Exposure to IT ticketing system (PSA an extra plus)
