Come be an integral part of Boulder’s newest swim club & tiki bar concept at one of the longest standing hotels in South Boulder. The Broker Swim Club features a retro influenced bar & speakeasy feel, pouring craft cocktails to pair alongside an outstanding Asian fusion cuisine. This membership driven concept will be the first of its kind in the area, therefore we are looking for innovative, driven and creative individuals who are dedicated to the art of hospitality.
This management position will primarily oversee the Staffing Program through effective hiring, onboarding and continued training for all FOH hourly positions.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the front of house area, including the dining room, bar, and host stand
- Ensure excellent customer service by training and supervising front of house staff
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, such as menus, napkins, and condiments, and place orders as needed
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of kitchen management and restaurant operations
- Proficiency in coffee preparation techniques and familiarity with different coffee brewing methods
- Experience in cash handling and using point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Culinary background or understanding of food preparation processes
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Excellent leadership skills to effectively manage a team of front of house staff
- Bartending experience is preferred but not required
