Boston Children's Hospital is Hiring a Per Diem Nurse- Urodynamics Near Boston, MA
Position Description
This Registered Nurse in the Urodynamics Program will be responsible for:
- Performing and assisting with both invasive and non-invasive ambulatory procedures, diagnostic testing and therapeutic treatments of urological issues.
- Providing supportive diagnostic evaluation and patient education in the management of various urological issues including dysfunctional voiding, incontinence and neurogenic bladder.
- Providing care and working with nursing and the Urology physician team in the pediatric Urology and Urodynamic procedural area in Boston with potential rotation to the satellite sites.
- Participate in phone triage providing patient education and chart review and intake health history.
- Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team, which includes CAs, RNs, NPs, PAs, Physicians and administrative support staff).
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- A minimum of 2 years of RN experience. (3-5 years preferred).
- Pediatric Urology experience preferred.
- Ambulatory nursing experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills, communication and organization.
- Ability to work autonomously (as part of the larger team) and possess strong decision making skills.
