Borusan Pipe USA is Hiring a HR Assistant Near Baytown, TX

Description:

The Human Resources Assistant will provide administrative and clerical support to the HR Department and employees regarding human resources-related activities, policies, processes, and procedures.

Working Conditions:

Working conditions are of a professional office environment. Administrative personnel may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to include but is not limited to; eye safety glasses, hearing protection, work boots, and hard hats.

1. Qualifications:

    • High School diploma and 1-3 years relevant experience.
    • Must be fluent in the Turkish language.
    • Proficient MS computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
    • Experience working in HRIS and ATS environments; UKG/Ultipro is a plus.
    • Effective communication skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
    • Positive and accommodating demeanor.
    • Demonstrate sensitivity to and respect for the cultural diversity of others.
    • Maintain confidentiality of all Human Resource records and information.
    • Employees may be required to work overtime on occasion.
    • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to learn.

2. Responsibilities:

    • Help with administrative tasks to support HR/Talent and other administrative departments as needed.
    • Assist in job postings on various platforms and websites.
    • Assist with scheduling interviews and communicating with candidates as needed.
    • Maintain and update employee records, including personal information and employment history as needed.
    • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and confidentiality policies.
    • Assist in organizing and archiving HR documents and files.
    • Coordinate employee communications regarding HR-related matters.
    • Assist in organizing HR-related events or training sessions.
    • Assist with organizing company and office functions.
    • Provide support during the open enrollment period and audits.

3. Activities:

    • Administer and manage the VISA process with third-party legal companies and HR management.
    • Be the liaison between HR and employees who need translation assistance from Turkish to English and vice versa.
    • Provide onboarding support regarding Turkish translations as needed and coordinate with third parties regarding Turkish employee transfers
    • Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including answering phones, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence.
    • Perform customer service functions to support all internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
    • Participate in special projects and initiatives and provide general support to the Human Resources department.
    • Other duties as assigned.
