Technical Writer, Mid

Key Role:

Write and edit technical documentation, user manuals and sales and training literature. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Communicate with internal, external, technical, and non-technical stakeholders to ensure the quality and accuracy of the assigned project. Translate technical verbiage in documents to verbiage that can be understood by non-technical professionals.

Basic Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience with developing, editing, and producing technical and graphical documentation

• Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite

• Ability to work with a technical engineering team and translate documents and literature into non-technical terms for business audiences

• Top Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Ability to communicate with technical, non-technical, internal, and external stakeholders at all levels in verbal and written formats

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
