Bolle Brands Inc is Hiring a Marketing Communications Manager Near Carlsbad, CA

Position Summary:

The position will be an integral part of our marketing department by supporting various initiatives aimed at promoting the brand and engaging with target audiences. Having a passion or like for the culture, lifestyle, and fashion of action sports is a necessary attribute. The Marketing Community Manager works directly with the Global Brand Manager and has departmental crossover with Product, Creative, and Sales. This position will support overall marketing efforts with a "boots on the ground" approach. Tasks in this position may vary day-to-day and will assist in giving this candidate a well-rounded approach to brand marketing for future development. A "can do" approach in this role will set this person up for success.

This position reports to the Global Brand Manager and is based at our Carlsbad, California headquarters.

Job responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following):

COMMUNITY MARKETING
  • Manage SPY's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn). Execute daily social media operations, including planning a weekly calendar, posting, and reposting social media materials, answering DM inquiries, trafficking all social media requests and conversations, and reporting on social analytics successes and shortcomings.
  • Work in connection with the GBM to develop a Social Media strategy and plan to maximize engagement and support brand campaign efforts.
  • Develop social media opportunities to engage users and grow followership, including content development, sourcing, and requesting imagery needs.
  • Coordinate with EMEA counterpart position to develop inclusion and global opportunities.
  • Work in concert with DTC and Creative Department to develop many weekly emails, specifically developing verbiage tone, imagery selection, and ideation.
  • Develop social-driven marketing opportunities to aggregate email participation to be implemented in DTC-targeted email outreach.
  • Be a resource to document imagery and video content needs. This will be a continual need to support all digital and print needs. Manage, curate, and work with the creative to approve these assets for usage.
CHANGE AGENTS/ AFFILIATE PROGRAM
  • Develop, assist, and report on the brand's Change Agents/ Affiliate roster in brand pillar disciplines of snowboarding, surfing, and moto.
  • Must have a working knowledge or interest of the endeavors connected to the brand Change Agents and Ethos: Surfing, Snowboarding, Moto, and more.
  • Coordinate with photographers and content producers to acquire Change Agent imagery.
MARKETING
  • Work with GBM to produce and contribute creative copywriting across site, product, social, and promotional materials, reflecting the brand's active and youthful personality.
  • Be a continual beacon of stoke for the brand. Share the culture within and outside the brand.
  • Assist Trade Marketing Manager in Event logistics and onsite presence to create a brand vibe at events.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Four years of professional experience working in Marketing.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Experience with tools for social media scheduling, monitoring, and reporting
  • Must possess a positive attitude and a solid motivation to improve and grow.
  • Must be highly organized and self-motivated.
  • Having a background or ability in content creation in photography, video, or graphic design is highly valued.
