Part-time (approx. 18-24 hrs/wk) receptionist position available in a chiropractic and massage therapy office. Our office works to provide a friendly and comfortable healing environment for the Virginia Beach community through massage therapy, chiropractic care, dry needling, laser therapy and nutritional counseling. At Body Logic we work as a team and value each staff member and his/her contribution toward the end goal of helping the community.
We are looking for someone who is outgoing, friendly, and motivated. Good telephone and interpersonal communication skills are a must. Applicants should be adaptable and pro-active, with the ability to multi-task well, remain organized, and pay attention to details. Should be comfortable with Microsoft Office programs. Medical billing familiarity appreciated, but not required.
Job responsibilities include scheduling massage, laser, and chiropractic appointments, checking patients in and out, preparing patient files, entering patient visit data into billing software, making and receiving phone calls, answering questions about retail products offered, cash and credit card handling including some math, and assisting in the day-to-day administrative operations of the office. Hours will be 12:30/1:30-6:30pm. Monday-Thursday, plus 1 Saturday per quarter 7:30am-12:30pm.
