Pershing X is a new start-up unit to incubate, engineer and deliver breakthrough solutions that will transform the advisory market.Pershing X will deliver the industry's leading end-to-end advisory platform, helping financial service firms solve the challenge of managing multiple and disconnected technology tools and data sets for their advisors and fueling our clients' business growth. We are a collaborative and fast-growing team working on exciting and innovative digital product offerings.

We are looking for a junior UX Writer and Content Designer to join the Content Design team under our lead Content Designer at Pershing X, a new advisory startup within BNY Mellon | Pershing.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

This role should have experience following standards and technical guidance, creating and managing of structural, navigational and product content for our next generation advisory platform. Must be able to follow standards documentation to push for implementation of all content including cross application style guides, copy decks by product specifications with the UX and product team. Role will actively participate and may provide guidance in the creation of concepts, information architecture, user interface designs, wireframes, storyboards, prototypes, and specifications to improve work quality and meet content and copy guidelines.

Overall this role will advocate for an integrated UX writing process across the firm and facilities training for groups inside and outside the UX team. Role will contribute to and integrate with research, usability testing, surveys, interviews, work studies, and heuristic evaluations. This role will interface directly with product designers, managers and stakeholder experts throughout the organization and affiliates - comfort and affinity for cross-departmental collaborations is necessary.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

Bachelor's degree in literature, journalism psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 6-8 years of experience required, experience in creating data driven product copy that drives actions and user outcomes most important, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
