Part Time IT Technician
Location: Baltimore, MD (onsite)
Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Friday, 8 hour shift
Our client is looking for a part time IT Technician that will be responsible for computer and account management provisioning/de-provisioning as well as inventory management of equipment. The person in this role will be installing, configuring and supporting network resources including printers, VoIP phone systems and other peripheral devices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist personnel with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of system hardware and software
- Offer daily operations and systems support to personnel
- Verify functionality of hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Monitor daily network backup operations
Skills:
- Expert knowledge of operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11) support and operations. Mac experience and competence a plus
- Knowledge of Windows server 2008, 2012
- Knowledge of VMware and VCenter
- Basic understanding of Networking, TCP/IP, VOIP, Lan and Wireless protocols
- Meraki products
- Knowledge of PC imaging solutions
- Knowledge of network security principles
Qualifications:
- A Certification
- MCP Networking
- Associate Degree in a related field
- Experience in VoIP systems or Cloud PBX systems
- 2 years of similar IT support experience
- Programming knowledge in any language a plus
- Experience to MasterControl Quality system a plus
- Knowledge of Syman / Progess is a big bonus
- Any programing language / skills
