We’re seeking a future member for the role of Lead Manager to join our CONTROLLERS- External Reporting team. This role is based out of Chennai.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Proficiency in performing and reviewing FED Call reports (FFIEC 031), FR2644, 2314/Y11’s, FR-YC preparation, detailed analysis, and review.
  • Preparation of Liquidity / NSFR reports
  • Application of regulatory reporting best practices and requirements. 
  • Investigation, documentation, and resolution of issues identified in the reporting process. 
  • Candidate should be recognized as the regulatory reporting point of contact, especially for Financial Statement Reposting team (FSRT) in GFCOE and eventual subject matter expert within US Regulatory Reporting.
  • Delivery of thorough regulatory reporting ensuring accuracy and correctness and transformation of data into information for reporting where needed. 
  • Preparation of various complex Regulatory returns and identification and analysis of exceptions. 
  • Provides technical advice/guidance to less experienced Regulatory reporting roles as needed. 
  • Responsibilities are primarily limited to US / EMEA Regulatory Reporting. However, tasks may produce cross-regional impacts, which will be modified based upon local regulations/requirements.

  • Brokers relationships with all stakeholders internal and external to the team and Bank.

Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 4 years of relevant Regulatory Reporting experience in a similar Financial services Industry, or
  • PG (MBA-Finance) / B. Com with 6 years of relevant Regulatory reporting experience in a similar Financial services Industry
  • Work experience in US Regulatory Financial Reporting is preferred.

Preferred Domain Knowledge/ Experience:

  • Experience in US Federal Reserve Reporting, including Call Reports (FFIEC 031 / Y9C) is preferred.
  • Prior people handling experience is preferred.
  • Other regulatory reporting experience or Capital Reporting experience is beneficial, but not required. 
  • Experience in analysing/working with large data sets is essential. 
  • Candidate should have advanced skills in the Microsoft Office Suite (emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Axiom software program is a plus. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Strong internal control mindset. 
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills. 
  • Highly motivated self-starter with excellent time management skills.
