We are seeking to fill Senior Director role within Pershing division. This role is based out of our Lake Mary, FL offices (hybrid – 3 days / week in Office).

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

  • Work with functional heads to develop and implement Insight’s Technology strategy.
  • Grow offshore extension to onshore product and technology operations teams. 
  • Department management including organization design aligned to the functional model and talent management leveraging BKT where possible to attract, train and retain talent.
  • Specifically for Technology operation team, ensure teams working pattens align and ensure senior manager coverage for escalation and incident management. 
  • Ensuring technical and operational risks are communicated and address through the management structure.
  • Communicate the Technology strategy and progress across all levels of the Technology ensuring alignment and broad engagement with local teams.
  • Provide local incident, resilience and risk managements leveraging the global framework.
  • Ensure alignment to Technology and Corporate policies and standards. 
  • Supporting the wider Operational division and the COO in delivering services to the firm.
  • Responsible for managing multiple, complex development projects, often global in scope.
  • Manage relationships with business partners in defining, developing, and implementing technology solutions that have impact on improving the business. 
  • Manage relationships with or interact with external governing bodies such as regulators. 
  • Oversee the development and implementation of multiple application systems. 
  • Define resource requirements and allocations, monitor and improve quality, and ensure best practice development techniques. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise to teams, as needed. 
  • Develops group wide business plans. 
  • Participate in firm-wide initiatives as per the direction from management. 
  • Manage, forecasts, and approve operating budget within the approved plan. 
  • Manage resource allocation. 
  • Lead identification of risks and proposes and implements mitigation plan. 
  • Handle escalations. Act as an advocate for change management, encourage innovation and creativity in technology solutions.
  • Lead recruitment efforts and manage and develop teams to maximize their collective contributions. 
  • Motivate lower-level managers to maximize their contributions and encourage professional growth. 
  • Manage multiple development groups Contribute to the achievement of Application Development objectives.
  • Hold responsibilities and strong leadership skills to ensure appropriate staffing and organizational structures are in place for assigned application development group.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

  • Minimum of 15 years in technology management or a related field within the financial industry, originally coming from a technical background (either infrastructure or software development).
  • Proven expertise in building and executing technology strategy supporting functional roles.
  • Hands-on experience with both development and technology operations teams in a team extension model.
  • Excellent communication skills
