Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Location: Hermitage, TN

Duration: 13-week contract

Shift: 12-hour day shifts

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in Medical Surgical (Med Surg) nursing for a 13-week contract in Hermitage, TN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement a comprehensive plan of care
• Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition
• Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatments, and self-care techniques
• Document all aspects of patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Medical Surgical nursing
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Flexibility to work 12-hour day shifts

Job Types: Travel nursing, Contract

Pay: $55.00 - $57.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
