Job Title: Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse (Day and Night Shift(both available), 13-Week Contract)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic healthcare team for a 13-week contract in our Med Surg/Tele unit. This position will primarily involve providing comprehensive care to patients in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry environment during the night shift. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise, effective communication skills, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Days and Nights (Both available), every other weekend, 36 hours/week - Experienced tele RN for a medical telemetry unit (16 of 32 beds) tele capable Cardiac monitoring experience preferred Current MA license and BLS/ACLS required
Tele test will be administered on first day and it will be pass/fail. Fail could result in assignment termination. Study material will be provided at the time of assignment confirmation.
COVID Vaccines Booster and Flu shot required at time of submission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients in the Med Surg/Tele unit.
• Monitoring patients' conditions and vital signs, including cardiac telemetry interpretation.
• Administering medications and treatments according to physician orders and established nursing protocols.
• Collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Providing education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
• Maintaining accurate and complete medical records/documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Responding promptly to changes in patients' conditions and taking appropriate actions to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Adhering to infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical/Telemetry setting.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Proficiency in cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation.
• Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend.

Pay: $65.00 - $75.00 per hour
