Blusky Restoration Contractors, LLC is Hiring a Regional Business Development Manager - Commercial Insurance Near Woburn, MA

The Regional Business Development Manager -Commercial Insurance generates new business opportunities by developing relationships with Commercial insurance adjusters, consultants, and brokers within the assigned region of responsibility and nationally. Primary responsibilities include inside and outside sales activities such as networking, lead generation, social media, and participation in trade associations.

Connections with Commercial insurance carriers (adjusters), consultants, and brokers in the Boston area and direct market knowledge are required.

Base Salary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 plus a competitive commission plan with a total earning potential of up to $400,000.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Business development activity
  • Face-to-face meetings
  • Generating leads from referral partners
  • Mix of business

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • The expectation of this position is that 75% of time and effort will be dedicated to the region of responsibility, while 25% of time and effort will be dedicated outside the region of responsibility
  • Identifies, nurtures, and develops new/existing business relationships to increase referral opportunities
  • Works with a defined target list of insurance adjusters, consultants, and brokers managed through Salesforce
  • Maintains membership and involvement in targeted associations
  • Prepares and presents sales proposals
  • Meets sales activity KPIs through client/prospect meetings, events, and outreach.
  • Documents all business development activities in Salesforce daily.
  • Achieves yearly individual/regional sales goal

Marketing

  • Works with leadership to plan association involvement levels and budgets
  • Participates in and represents BluSky in tradeshows, golf tournaments, and promotional events
  • Plans, organizes, and participates in tradeshows and other marketing functions, including golf tournaments, charitable events, and other networking and social activities, many of which are after normal business hours

General Responsibilities

  • Becomes and remains proficient on BluSky’s services and the associated terminology
  • Adheres to company employment standards and Best Practices
  • Always provides the highest level of internal and external customer service
  • Contributes positively to the BluSky culture and community
  • All other duties or projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3 years working with commercial brokers and insurance adjusters preferred.
  • Must be able to attend networking functions 2-4 evenings a week
  • Intermediate-level Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience inputting and tracking sales-related data into a CRM system
  • Valid driver's license
  • An outgoing, driven, tenacious, team-oriented attitude is a must!
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related preferred
