Summary:

An ideal candidate for this role will have a knowledge of several Human Resources functions, with specialized experience in benefits administration, HRIS management (Paycor preferred), policy and process creation and oversight, and special projects. The perfect candidate will be a big picture thinker, with the ability to adapt and identify how to drive select people-related functions forward within the organization. This role will be dynamic and may adjust responsibilities based on the fast-paced environment that we work in. Working with a small team of HR professionals, the team will work cohesively to ensure the HR department’s operations are running smoothly and effectively to deliver maximum value to the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

• Administer compensation and benefit plans, conduct benefits orientations, audit benefit carrier invoices, and assist employees with benefits related questions
• Create, revise, monitor and/or implement company policies and procedures and other HR related documents
• Management, maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of the HRIS (Paycor) system
• Ensure company compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations through policy and process creation and adherence
• Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics such as leave of absence, FMLA, benefits, and compensation
• Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly and effectively
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of Human Resources experience in a Generalist capacity
• Experience with HRIS, Paycor experience preferred
• BA/BS in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a relevant field
• Strong knowledge of employment/labor laws
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Aptitude in problem solving
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
• Experience with OSHA and DOT regulations and compliance
• Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
