Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager. The Assistant Branch Manager will work closely with the Branch Manager to oversee daily operations, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure the branch meets its financial goals. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of banking products and services.

Responsibilities:

· Team Leadership: Assist in leading and motivating branch staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.

· Customer Service Excellence: Ensure that all customers receive prompt and courteous service, address customer inquiries and concerns effectively, and maintain a customer-centric environment within the branch.

· Operations Management: Oversee daily branch operations, including cash handling, transaction processing, and compliance with banking regulations and policies.

· Sales and Business Development: Support the Branch Manager in implementing sales strategies to promote banking products and services, and actively participate in business development activities to attract new customers and expand existing relationships.

· Training and Development: Provide coaching and training to branch staff to enhance their product knowledge, sales skills, and customer service capabilities.

· Risk Management: Assist in identifying and mitigating operational and compliance risks, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

· Collaboration: Foster collaboration and teamwork within the branch and across departments to achieve overall organizational objectives.

· Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, community organizations, and business partners to enhance the bank's reputation and market presence.

· Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling, preparing reports, and managing branch resources effectively.

Requirements

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail banking, with demonstrated success in a leadership role.

· Strong knowledge of banking products and services, including consumer and commercial deposit products.

· Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, staff, and senior management.

· Sound understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software applications.

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
