Blue Gate Restaurant and Bakery seeks a dedicated Manager on Duty to join our team. As the Manager on Duty, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our establishment. You will be responsible for managing employees, providing exceptional guest satisfaction, and planning to guarantee the success of each shift.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee shift operations.
• Manage and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure high standards of guest satisfaction are consistently met.
• Plan and organize daily activities to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Maintain a positive and professional working environment.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Assist in the training and development of new and existing staff members.
• Find coverage for shifts as necessary to ensure adequate staffing levels.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry is preferred, but we will train the right individual.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Must thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and industry trends.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A clear criminal background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
