Job Overview:
The Field Technician will be responsible to support a region of clubs as it relates to day to day repair and maintenance issues. This person will spend the majority of their time in the field visiting clubs.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all fitness equipment to ensure it is working properly.
- Ensure he/she is knowledgeable about all of the tools, equipment, and material used for repair of in-club machines.
- Service channel (Work order platform)
- Work closely with Field Supervisor to ensure efficient completion and tracking of all tasks
- Respond to all service requests in the locations he/she supports in a timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all storage areas and ensure accurate inventory is kept.
- Ensure all equipment repair is logged and up to date.
- Partner with the club managers in the region as it relates to preventative care of the fitness equipment in their club.
Qualifications:
- Able to handle/move equipment and inventory in excess of 100 lbs and stand for long periods of time.
- Must be comfortable to use tools, climb on ladders, etc.
- Familiarity and ability to work on all types of fitness equipment.
- Must have strong sense of initiative and be able to work independently
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Working knowledge of computers.
Compensation and Benefits:
