Job Overview:
We are seeking a Night Auditor to join our team at the Black Bear Inn in Orono, an Ascend Collection hotel and part of the Choice Hotels family. The Night Auditor will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the hotel during the night shift. The schedule is Sunday - Thursday nights from 11pm to 7am.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct night audit procedures efficiently and accurately
- Handle guest check-ins and check-outs during the night
- Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Manage phone systems and assist guests with reservations or inquiries
- Maintain guest relations by providing exceptional customer service
- Ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately
- Complete end-of-day activities and generate reports for management

Experience:
- Proven experience in night audit or guest services within a hotel/resort setting
- Familiarity with hotel software and phone systems
- Strong guest relations skills with the ability to handle various guest situations effectively
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and standards

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
