Aninternational bank seeks a bilingual Japanese Assistant to Economists in NewYork City.The individual will beresponsible for research as well as analyzing mainly U.S. Economic data andpreparing reports in Japanese.

MajorResponsibilities:

• Translateeconomic reports from English into Japanese.
• Translateeconomic reports from Japanese into English.
• Assist othereconomists for data collection and preparing presentation materials etc.
• Analyze theU.S. macroeconomic data, collect information about government policies andfinancial industry and write reports in Japanese.
• Performsrelated duties including administrative work and participates in specialprojects as required.
• Perform otheroffice duties per the manager economist requests.

Requirements

• Fluent in Japanese (Communicate, Read and/orwrite fluently)
• Ability to translate English reports to Japaneseand vice versa.
• Experience as an assistant economist preferable.
• Adequate knowledge of economic and financialdata sources, ability to handle analytic issues, and write economic reportsindependently.
• Bachelor’s degree
• Excel, Word skills.
