As the GM Assistant, you will have several top priorities to accomplish:

• Streamline communication between hiring managers and HR
  • Minimize delay in new employee onboarding tasks and termination documents
• Confidently deliver performance feedback, set goals, foster teamwork, and clearly communicate business objectives
  • Assist in implementing a scheduled performance review system for all employees
• Drive culture within the dealership
  • Plan and coordinate team building activities
• Assist GM with meeting coordination and calendar management, personally and with upper management in dealership
  • Planning, booking, and coordinating travel for GM when needed other company related travel for upper management and/or training seminars
• Organize building and personnel needs
  • Optimize communicate with contractors about routine maintenance, bids for work, moving personnel around in dealership, etc.
• Project and task management and follow up
  • Ensure that projects are on track and accomplished within the expected timelines

Other responsibilities

• Take notes during all meetings and follow up on action items
• Sit in on high-level conversations and executive meetings
• Maintain confidential information
• Organize and execute company/ dealership events

Qualifications and Skills

• Exceptional skills in customer service and communication
• Project and task management and follow up
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Flexibility with work schedules; including Saturdays (we are always closed on Sundays)
• Neat, clean and professional appearance
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, a good driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug test
