Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Senior Manager to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success in the CRDMO space. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the US, building strong relationships with potential clients, and expanding our client base. You will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's future by driving revenue growth and helping us to achieve our business objectives. Excellent oral and written communication and inter-personal skills, detail-oriented with excellent problemsolving and decision-making abilities, organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, ensuring on time-in full and right-first-time deliveries of orders by the customers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development: • Identify and target potential clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve sales targets and revenue growth. • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations.
2. Client Engagement: • Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges. • Present our company's capabilities and services, tailoring solutions to meet the unique requirements of each client. • Provide excellent client service and maintain ongoing communication to ensure client satisfaction
3. Proposal and Contract Management: • Execute CDA prior to discussion of confidential of project details. • Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals and presentations in response to client requests. • Negotiate and close contracts while ensuring favorable terms for the company. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
4. Market Research: • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes. • Analyze market opportunities and provide recommendations for new service offerings or geographic expansion.
5. Reporting and Analytics: • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system. • Generate regular reports on business development progress and key performance indicators.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a chemistry, Biochemistry or Chemical Engineering related field (Master's degree preferred).
2. Proven experience (>3 years) in business development and sales within the CRDMO or life sciences industry.
3. Strong understanding of drug development and manufacturing processes.
4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
5. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients.
6. Strategic thinking and analytical skills.
7. Self-motivated, result-oriented, and a team player.
8. Knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards is a plus.
