bioMérieux is Hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician I Near Salt Lake, UT
- Responds professionally and efficiently to production needs/requests
- Troubleshoots diagnostic instruments to identify root cause issues related to product and process and performs instrument repairs. (Accounts for approximately 90% of workload)
- Writes and updates floor log tickets and nonconformances.
- Works on problems of minor scope and complexity with engineers and other technicians to support engineering projects.
- Support of continuous improvement initiatives including Lean, VSM, Kaizen, etc.
- Performs all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMerieux Diagnostics Quality System.
- Travel: minimal travel required.
- Team: usually works on a team with several engineers and a project manager.
