Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, works closely with business development manager for the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Sustainability and Social Enterprise Impact Investing practices to coordinate and execute on business development plans and materials. Prepares and updates marketing and business development collateral. Assists in preparing customized pitches/RFPs (including detailed tracking in Salesforce), presentations, and with overall details and logistics of marketing events (as a liaison with events, IT, and CLE teams). Researches and provides input into targeted marketing methods including social media, CLE seminars, organizational affiliations, and initiatives. Assists with firm’s awards and directories submissions, working with business development and awards and ranking team members to track deadlines and ensure timely completion of submissions. Supports formatting and finalizing materials and presentations for internal practice and industry group meetings. Serves as the main point of contact for relevant practice and industry groups to maintain Salesforce CRM contacts and relevant mailing lists. Ensures meticulous execution of all projects and work, with data and content consistently accurate and well presented. Attains synergies through effective collaboration. Ensures client service and satisfaction are attained in all areas of the position. Additional responsibilities and projects to be assigned on an as needed basis.
Business Development Coordination
· Collaborate closely with business development managers, providing responsive, effective assistance in executing on business development requests, projects, and initiatives. Develop understanding of relevant practice and industry groups and preferences of partners within each practice and group. Make recommendations for improvements process improvements, taking full ownership over assignments.
· Edit, update, and maintain practice group marketing materials, including practice group descriptions, attorney biographies, and content for the website. Assist with tracking matters in experience database and creating descriptions and tombstones for pitches and marketing collateral. Draft new collateral as requested.
· Assist in preparing pitches and RFPs, including research, coordinating collateral, and assembling materials. Coordinate closely with Marketing Pitch Hub to ensure end result is accurate and thoroughly prepared. Assist in tracking results and preparing responsive reports and analyses incorporating recommendations for increasing effectiveness.
· Create dynamic PowerPoint presentations for partner pitches and internal communications.
· Provide requested research using Firm and online tools to develop intelligence on prospective targets, industries, markets, etc.
· Coordinate and provide supporting research for speaking and sponsorship opportunities.
· Participate in the production and presentation of client development seminars. Coordinate details, logistics, processes, communications, arrangements, etc. through all stages of development and implementation as needed. Assist with the follow-up for all client events and seminars to ensure business development opportunities and drive potential ROI.
· Coordinate with Marketing Creative Services in applying brand standards, using firm templates, preparing files for print productions, and performing press checks.
· Participate in completing timely awards and submissions to directories and ranking authorities in coordination with awards and ranking team members.
· Participate in keeping Salesforce database current (pitch, RFP tracking and contacts for mailing lists) for assigned practices and industry groups.
Collaborate with Marketing Managers and Staff
Awards & Submissions
· Assist with firm awards and submissions calendar/deadlines, coordinates reminder notifications and update meetings with Client and other relevant stakeholders, coordinates uploading and archiving of submissions and references.
· Provide additional awards and submissions support as needed.

· Ensure compliance with the Firm's Information Handling Policy, including safeguarding confidential and personal information, and reporting any suspected breach appropriately and immediately.
· Adhere to the Firm's General Safety Practices and any unique safety practices for department and building.
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or related field.
· Two years of relevant experience in professional services marketing; law firm experience preferred.
