Job Summary:

We’re searching for a highly qualified project manager to help us launch a major initiative that is key to supporting BigHeart's mission and vision.

As our project manager, you will coordinate people and processes to ensure that our projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline while keeping the team updated on overall progress. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in developing and overseeing work plans and ensuring follow-through for all aspects of the project.

Objectives of this role

• Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
• Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met; report and escalate to management as needed
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain processes for managing scope during the project lifecycle, setting quality and performance standards, and assessing risks
• Assign and monitor resources to ensure project efficiency and maximize deliverables
• Report project outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and escalate issues, as necessary, according to the project work plan
• Promote and maintain client relationships.
• Demonstrate effective teamwork through the establishment of successful interpersonal relationships with co-workers and clients

Required skills and qualifications

• Four or more years of project management experience
• PMP / PRINCE II certification is a plus
• Experience with software implementation
• Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines
• Proven success working with all levels of management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
• Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office
• Creating long- and short-term plans, including setting targets for milestones and adhering to deadlines
• Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needs or financing for the project change
• Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them
• Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project

Pay: $84,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
