The Lead Medical Assistant will help the patient experience including the treatment of patients.

Responsibilities: 

Provide front office and medical assistant support including but not limited to patient care, scheduling, registration, insurance verifications, and patient referrals. 

· Greets patients and visitors 

· Initiates a triage for response by medical personnel 

· Registers, verifies and updates patient records 

· Provides exceptional customer service, responds promptly and appropriately to customer needs 

· Maintaining office and medical supplies 

· Handles physician requests in a timely manner 

· Prepares and sanitizes rooms 

Knowledge and Skills: 

· Strong computer skills and knowledge of internet software, and Microsoft processing software 

· Detail oriented and organized 

· Flexible and reliable 

· Professional attitude, patience and kindness in all interactions

Requirements

 Required Qualifications:

· Medical assistant certification

· BLS

· 2 years of clinical/MA experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Prolonged periods of periods of standing and bending.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
