We are looking for a results driven retail store manager to be responsible for the overall store management. The successful candidate will be able to enhance customer satisfaction, meet sales and profitability goals and manage staff effectively. Candidates will have the most success if they have a background in customer service, employee recruitment, or retail management. Store manager responsibilities include employee retention, sales goals, reducing waste, and other goals set by the management team.
Responsibilities
- Front of House leadership. A constant steady presence and resource for your employees to model after
- Scheduling your team
- Educating your employees on promotions and contests
- Money management
- Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
- Ability to communicate with both those above you and under you, with personalities that differ. Asking for clarification, and using your empowerment to understand what can be changed to work better, or reasons for why procedures must remain
- Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
- Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
- Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (call ins, reprimands, complaints)
- Additional store manager duties as needed
