Coffee Trailer Manager Job Description

A leadership position with the responsibility for the efficient and profitable operations of a BIGGBY Coffee Store.

Job Competencies:

Responsibilities and Duties:

6. Organize and schedule events
7. 15-20 hours a week
8. Research local events
9. Schedule events, obtaining necessary permits and documentation.
10. Operate truck at events
11. Minimum of two days of operation per week May-October
12. Minimum of two days of operation per week November-April
13. Flexible scheduling
14. Willing to work nights and weekends to manage events
15. Willing to work a changing schedule
16. Ability to work solo shifts
17. Ability to lead and work along side 1-2 baristas
18. Responsible for transporting trailer to and from locations
19. Comfortable driving a truck with trailer attached
20. Ability to communicate trailer/truck repair needs to repair admin in a timely manner
21. Order and maintain stock
22. Order Sysco, Mooville, etc.
23. Meet or exceed sales goals
24. 200 cup average for days open
25. $6 or above ABC
26. $1200 or above/day profit
27. Attend weekly manager meetings and leadership meetings
28. Promote trailer business through Guerilla marketing and community connection.
29. Ensure trailer equipment is maintained and in good repair to avoid equipment failure.
30. Ensure internal trailer organization and equipment meets fire department, health department, and OSHA standards.
31. Keep Labor/COGS sheet up to date
32. Process bank deposits.
33. Input COGS data
34. Practice and enforce proper cash management, including change box and change orders.
35. Properly track drawer reconciliation sheet.

Qualifications:

Must have a high school diploma or GED. Current and valid Driver’s License. Must maintain a verifiable clean driving record. ServSafe—Food Services Safety Certification. Must have completed Barista, Shift Leaders, PERC, and Manager Training. 1 year of BIGGBY COFFEE retail management experience preferred.

Strong organizational and planning skills. Must be outgoing and capable of being in charge. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. Flexibility and ability to adapt/work through unexpected changes and challenges. Excellent proactive communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to build good relationships within local communities. Passion for quality coffee and the BIGGBY COFFEE mission.

Experience in basic troubleshooting and maintenance of store equipment (espresso machine, brewers, grinders, etc.) preferred.
