A religious institution is seeking a Bookkeeper Assistant with strong attention to detail and initiative to join their team. This role offers the opportunity for training and development, with QuickBooks knowledge being a plus. The position is full-time and based in the office.

Responsibilities Include:

• Assisting the bookkeeper with various accounting tasks.
• Attention to detail in data entry and record-keeping.
• Taking initiative to complete tasks and projects efficiently.
• Learning and adapting to company accounting procedures.
• Collaborating with the bookkeeping team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Providing support in reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
• Assisting with payroll processing and other financial transactions.
• Communicating effectively with team members regarding accounting matters.

Ideal Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to take initiative and run with projects independently.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
• Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.
