Better Health is Hiring a Remote Enrollment Team Lead (Remote)

Better Health is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Enrollment Team Lead to join our team to help disrupt the chronic care industry. This role will play a pivotal role in the successful growth of our member enrollment team serving patients with chronic conditions. The Enrollment Team Lead will report to the Enrollment and Activation Manager, and is a critical position to drive production and quality with our Enrollment team. The preferred applicant for this role must have a passion for innovating within healthcare, the ability to drive enrollments in a consultative sales environment, and inspire teams to deliver their best performance. 

The pay range for this role will be dependant on the candidate's experience and qualifications, with additional performance bonuses.


Who is Better Health?

Better Health is a new type of medical provider, helping people with chronic conditions live and age at home. How? By bundling peer support, education, and home delivery of medical supplies in an end-to-end digital care solution. We help our members discover and purchase the best medical equipment and supplies to address their underlying chronic conditions and receive the education and support they need to thrive at home. 

Since our inception in November 2019, Better Health has gained Medicare licenses in 46 states, 16 Medicaid licenses, and preferred national provider contracts with leading payers, including Oscar Health Humana, and Cigna. We are backed by Caffeinated Capital, General Catalyst, 8VC, Mastry Ventures and other experienced investors and entrepreneurs.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily operational support. Review and manage dialer performance, drive queue management, review dashboards, and distribute support tickets 
  • Performance management. Coach staff members, drive performance through occasional QA monitoring, lead by example, and assist in training new staff members.
  • Cross-team collaboration. Drive collaboration between Member Care, Care Programs, and other Activation campaigns, while thinking strategically to help the business grow and work more efficiently. 
  • Convert leads and drive enrollments. This role is a working team lead position, meaning that the responsibilities are split between coaching and personally driving new conversions and enrollments.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a healthcare startup
  • 2 years experience in enrollment or inside sales positions
  • 2 years contact center operations leadership experience 
  • Proficient in Google Suite/Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to coach and train others on improving their communication and delivery
  • Preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish speaking
  • Flexible work schedule to support our contact center
