Position Objective: The Operations Specialist is an administrative and operational role, and is responsible for acting as the liaison and main point of contact between Better Health Group and Better Health Group contracted external stakeholders. The incumbent will report to their designated department lead (or similar role) and will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations and effective communication between our organization and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring effective communication
Proactively address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution
Maintain department-specific trackers
Collaborate with internal teams to gather and analyze data, identify areas for improvement, and implement operational strategies
Coordinate and facilitate meetings with stakeholders to discuss operational issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment on goals and objectives
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in the healthcare landscape that may impact operations
Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Propose and implement process enhancements to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies
Solicit feedback from stakeholders to opportunities and address them effectively
Additional duties as assigned
Position Requirements/ Skills:
Bachelors degree in a healthcare administration-related field, required
3 years of experience in healthcare of related field
Strong knowledge of health plan operations and familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and analyze data to drive operational improvements
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration
Physical Requirements:
Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling and reaching
Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range
Ability to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation
