If so, we are seeking a Sr. Sales & Operations Analyst, who will provide hands on support to our Americas sales organization. This role is responsible for sales analytics, processes, controls, and improvements – requiring a mix of analytical capabilities and business support. The position reports directly to the Americas Chief Financial Officer and works closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Executive Officer. 
Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide monthly reporting, analytics, and insights on key performance metrics including (sales retention, new account sales, sales rep performance, customer performance, opportunity pipeline). Deliver insights and recommendations for strategic decision making.
  • Develop analytics for monthly financial call with Berlin’s PE partner.
  • Work with the Digital Team to enhance or create additional Power BI sales tools.
  • Streamline and enhance internal processes and business tools.
  • Manage the execution & reporting of the bi-annual Customer Business Review (CBR) process.
  • Ad hoc reporting, analysis, and presentation creation for an executive audience.
  • Assist the Finance team with the strategic planning and budgeting processes.
  • Content development and coordination of sales programs and events including the Americas sales meeting, new hire training, and employee recognition events.
  • Assist in due diligence and integration activities for new acquisitions.
  • Assist Chief Commercial Officer and Chief Executive Officer with administrative activities, as needed
  • Present insights and interpret data, as requested
  • Fulfill employee portion of the Berlin Values.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or other quantitative emphasis required
  • 7 years analytical experience, preferably in a financial planning or sales analyst role, within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
  • Solid business acumen with proven problem solving and process improvement skills
  • An understanding of industrial distribution and sales preferred
  • Exceptional Excel skills (VLookup, Pivot Tables, Imbedded If Statements, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail with high quality work product
  • Strong interpersonal skills including demonstrated ability to evaluate business impact, present insights, and provide recommendations
  • Intellectual curiosity and comfort with ambiguity
  • Operates with a strong sense of urgency; is goal oriented and performance driven
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to periodically travel as needed
